I loved the game. (Loved) and I was so enveloped in the ideas and mythology! Judging just the background information this is a great add on, however I thought the ending took away a bit of the magic. So, information about game 5 stars Figuring out the alternative ending 3.5 stars Alternative ending itself -2 stars I wouldnt recommend the alternative ending to a friend. But definitely great for the mythology.

The game is immersive and challenging. This companion is poorly written and full of errors. Theres nothing like an unprofessional piece of writing to shorten your patience. This app could be so much more polished.

Great Game very short for the price. I was expecting it to take me at least more than 2 weeks but it took me no more than 6 hours other than that the best thriller in a game Ive ever seen!

This works well as its own piece, but doesnt make up for the shortness of the game. It gives so e good background on the characters involved, but I didnt care much for the researchers experience.

This game is amazing. The game is perfect. The story is strong. The art is brilliant. It is Such a solid game and awesome app. It is short but its amazing. I could not find I signal thing about Theodor Almsten , his books , his lecture or his short film

I finished Year Walk before I got the companion. It was cool learning about the creatures and reliving the game while reading about it. The code is in the game at the very very end of the game. It stresses you to remember the code so you cant miss it. I almost didnt read the notes, but man Im soooo glad I did. Very chilling to say the least. It pulls everything together and it gives you the TRUE ending. Dont listen to the haters. Stick with it and immerse yourself in it. It pays off.

The title is like it says - its a companion to the game that explains the folklore. Theres even unlockable content for when youve finished the game. Good stuff.

The code will tell you everything about the back story of the game... Its a little creepy though. You get the code after you complete the game and watch the credits. I wont tell you what the code is but I will give you a hint: its the year.
